Career Services

Career Services seeks to assist NMU students and alumni with career exploration and job placement concerns. It provides resources and services focused on assisting students with career placement and career decision-making activities linking NMU students and alumni with potential employers, teaching effective job-search strategies and providing supportive information and resources to faculty and staff in addressing the career-related concerns of students.

Cat Career Tracks

Cat Career Tracks is Career Services' all-in-one web system. For student and alumni, it's where you can search and apply for job opportunities 24/7. You can also host and manage resumes, cover letters and more. For employers, it's possible to post and manage multiple job openings.

MAJOR EXCITEMENT

(a major and career exploration fair)

Not sure what major to choose? Picked a major, but you don’t know what you’re going to do with it after graduation? If this sounds familiar, it’s time for Major Excitement! This informal event brings in faculty and alumni from a range of majors across campus, allowing you to ask them questions about what the major's like and what jobs are available afterwards.
