Interviews – Project Engineer/Field Engineer

Whiting-Turner is looking to fill their Project Engineer and Field Engineer positions.  Field engineers, reporting to the project superintendent and/or project manager, coordinate the work of subcontractors on construction sites, support creation of project budgets and schedules, identify and resolve field issues and change orders, etc. Field engineers must have a Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline, engineering technology or construction management, or Associate of Arts degree in construction management or related field.

Project engineers are team members reporting to the project manager, who help manage all aspects of construction projects including estimating and bidding processes, coordinate work with project owner representatives, architects, engineers, inspectors, and site subcontractors, and write contracts and purchase orders using company boilerplate language to document all ordered work, schedules, projected costs, change orders and technical specifications, etc. Project engineers must have a Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline, engineering technology or construction management, or Associate of Arts degree in construction management or related field.
