SpringHill offers overnight camp, day camp and retreat experiences in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio.  Given our variety of camps that we provide, we strive to staff all of our experiences with the most competent staff in the industry.  We spend a lot of time, energy, research and effort in finding the perfect staff for every position at SpringHill. We are hoping to connect with candidates who are interested in an exciting, fun filled position at SpringHill during the Summer of 2015.  Not only will they have unimaginable, professional and personal experiences, they will also have the opportunity to build their resumes for future, full time employment.

Information Session - Nuclear Fuel Services, Inc.

NFS of Erwin, TN, is a subsidiary of Babcock & Wilcox Nuclear Operations Group, Inc. (B&W NOG) of Lynchburg, Virginia. NFS manufactures nuclear fuel for the U.S. Navy's fleet of nuclear-powered aircraft carriers and submarines. Nuclear fuel manufactured by NFS has an operational lifespan of more than 30 years. We process HEU in a highly secure (Category 1) facility, which is licensed by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).

Interviews - Seney National Wildlife Refuge

Wednesday, February 11, 2015  *  1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.  *  Guest Room 2209, University Center

Seney National Wildlife Refuge will be on-campus attending the Summer Job Fair (University Center) on February 11 and will also be conducting interviews for two positions - Visitor Services Intern (24 weeks) and Visitor Services Intern (12 weeks).

To apply for either of these internships, submit:

  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Your time period available

Information Session - Lower Kuskokwim School District

The Lower Kuskokwim School District (www.lksd.org) is gearing up for another recruiting  season and will be in need of educators for the 2015-2016 school year. 

The school district is in western Alaska, approximately 400 air miles from Anchorage.  The district covers an area equivalent in size to the State of Ohio and is comprised of 22 Eskimo villages all accessible only by aircraft, with each village having its own K-12 school.  The community of Bethel, where the district office is located, has five different schools with a community population of 7,500 people (making it the largest community in western Alaska). 

Though it is too early to tell what specific openings we will have, previous vacancy history indicates that we normally hire between 15-20 EL ED teachers, 3-4 Secondary Language Arts, 3-4 Secondary Math, 3-4 Secondary Science, 2-3 Principals, 6-8 SPED teachers, and 2-3 Counselors.   We are estimating that there will be 50 - 65 positions needing to be filled this year.
