Information Session: Power Construction

Wednesday, September 17, 2014  *  6:30 p.m.  *  JAC 118

Founded in 1926, Power is a management-owned commercial construction company that focuses on the greater Chicago metro area. This local focus helps to ensure that our people are able to be home with family and friends each night.

With annual revenue of $700 million and a staff of 250, Power offers the feel of a smaller company and the opportunities and resources of a larger firm. Client types include Healthcare, Hospitality, Developer, Workplace and Education. Within Power Construction, our VIP Group focuses on projects under $10 million while our Luxury Residence Group specializes in one-of-a-kind condominiums and single-family homes.

Our aim is simple...understand the expectations of clients, architects and subcontractors, then work hard to exceed those expectations.

Proof of Power's success can be found in the fact that more than 90% of our workload is awarded to the firm from repeat clients. Equally important is the fact that since its founding in 1926, Power Construction has NEVER been in litigation for performance matters with any client, architect or subcontractor.

The result?  More people are stuck in the cycle of poverty—and our nation is not living up to its ideals.

Teach For America works to eliminate this injustice by finding, training, and supporting individuals who are committed to equality and placing them in high-need classrooms across the country. Through this experience, they become lifelong leaders for a better world.
