NMU students are always up for an adventure in the snow.

Here at NMU, our students get to do this winter thing all the time. Whether a club team, intramural or one of our Division I or Division II teams, NMU student athletes are taking the competition to the next level on snow and ice!

NMU has ties to a fair share of Olympians over the years including: Shani Davis (Speed Skating), Rosie Frankowski & Caitlin Compton (Cross Country Skiing) and the 2022 Winter Olympics Jake Brown, in photo, (Biathlon) and recent Gold Medalist Nick Baumgartner (Snowcross).

From the U.P. 200 Sled Dog Races to Noquemanon Trail Network to Marquette Mountain Ski Resort -- you'll find plenty to do in the winter in Marquette.

Visits include a one-on-one meeting with a faculty member in your area of interest, a campus tour led by a current NMU student and time to chat with an admissions counselor. We can't wait to show you around campus.
