College to Host International IT Seminar The College of Business will host the fourth annual International Information Technology Student Seminar at Northern’s campus in Marquette from February 23-27, 2009. This seminar will bring together 30 upper division Computer Science and Computer Information Systems students from 6 different institutions in Europe and from Northern Michigan University for 4 full days of learning, sharing, international team-building, and socializing. College Faculty Wins $222,000 International Business Grant The U.S. Department of Education has awarded a four year grant worth $222,000 to Northern Michigan University to prepare U.S. and Brazilian students for highly skilled 21st century jobs that require expertise in entrepreneurship, corporate social responsibility, and sustainable economic development. College Hires New Assistant Dean Robert Lion is joining the College of Business as its first assistant dean on August 4, 2008.
