Donating Organizational and Personal Records

The Central Upper Peninsula and Northern Michigan University Archives follows the policies and procedures for donating records as determined by the Society of American Archivists

You may be interested in donating your organizations inactive records: budgets, bylaws, correspondence, financial statements, handbooks, meeting minutes, photographs, and tax returns are only a few examples of the types of records we collect and preserve. Read more here.

Letters, emails, diaries, photos, and other material accumulated over the years give vital and unique information regarding your life or the history of your family.
