Winter Semester Job Fair

The Winter Semester Job Fair is marking its 31st year!  This fair brings together students and employers from the Midwest to explore today's exciting job outlook. Many employers will be interviewing students for positions with their organizations. There is no cost for students and alumni to attend this event.

Current students:  Please bring your student ID for check-in.

Students and Alumni: This event is free to attend.  Current students should bring their student IDs for check-in.  Remember to dress for success and bring copies of your resume.  For tips on how to prepare for a job fair, click here. 

Join event buttonFor a chance to win a prize, log into Handshake and join this event!  Students/Alumni who join and also check in at the job fair will be placed into a drawing.  Ten winners will be selected and notified the day after the fair.

To register for this event, log in to Handshake. On your Dashboard, click on 'Fairs' on the left side.  Search then click on 'Winter Semester Job Fair'.  Next, click on the blue '+ Register' button.  Once you have completed your registration, click 'Create Registration'.  NMU on-campus departments: Make sure to choose your department under 'Registration Division'.    

Registration fees for 2020-2021 job fairs: 

  • For-profit organizations: $175 (includes a table, chairs and lunch for 2 recruiters; additional recruiters will cost $15 each)
  • Non-profit organizations: $50 (includes a table, chairs and lunch for 2 recruiters; additional recruiters will cost $15 each)

Please note: Students are not required to register for the job fair to attend. The number of students registered does not reflect the number of students that will be in attendance. 

Due to limited space, graduate schools will not be able to register for this event.
