City of Madison Police Department: On-Campus Written Testing Session

The Madison Wisconsin Police Department is seeking mature-minded men and women who possess integrity and self-confidence. Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as a desire to work with the community are essential. A career with the Madison Police Department is both challenging and rewarding. We are an innovative organization, proud of our diversity and that of the community we serve. Representatives from our department will be at NMU to offer the written exam and to distribute applications. The test will take approximately an hour and a half, and prior registration is not necessary.  Any questions regarding this test should be directed to the MPD at (608) 266-4190.

Peace Corps: Information Session

The Peace Corps is a service opportunity for motivated change-makers to immerse themselves in a community abroad, working side by side with local leaders to tackle the most pressing challenges of our generation. The Peace Corps two-year program is often called life-defining by the more than 220,000 Americans who have served. Get the chance to fully integrate into a host country community, where you will live and work on projects ranging from education to business development.

A representative from the Peace Corps will be hosting an information session on campus to provide information about volunteer experiences, tips to guide you through the application process and answer any questions you may have. If you have the hour free, stop by!

U.S. Army: Information Table

The U.S. Army will be on campus on Wednesday, November 6 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Jamrich Hall 1100 Lobby area to offer information about their part-time service opportunities, as well as their tuition assistance program and other benefits. They have over 120 jobs to choose from! Military specialists include: Administrative Support, Medical Technicians, Mechanical Specialists, Computers & Technology, Legal & Law Enforcement, Transportation & Aviation, Engineering & Construction, Arts & Media, Army Bands, Combat Engineer and Airborne/Air Assault.
