Camp Michigamme: Pre-Scheduled & Walk-In Interviews

Camp Michigamme will be on campus to interview for summer positions:
- Head Lifeguard - You'll be running the show at the waterfront at Camp Michigamme this summer. The safety and waterfront experience for all campers, volunteers, guests, and fellow staff will be your responsibility. You'll be in charge of overseeing the lifeguards, managing the safety of the waterfront, maintaining the waterfront equipment and safety gear, providing all with clear waterfront guidelines, and enforcing all policies with regard to the waterfront and its usage. Prior lifeguarding experience required and prior supervision of a waterfront is desired. Current certifications also desired; however, recertification training can be provided. Must be at least 21 years old to apply. Summer runs from June 3-August 12. Salary: $1,400/month
- Support Staff - Being a member of the support staff means you will have the opportunity to help in a variety of areas at Camp Michigamme. You will be cross trained in food service, maintenance, waterfront, and various program areas as needed. If you are looking for an engaging, dynamic work experience and are willing to be trained in different areas of camp, then this is for you. No prior skills needed, just a desire to learn and be trained. Areas of focus include food service, maintenance, lifeguarding, arts and crafts, and more. Must be at least 18 years old to apply and must commit to the summer season from June 6-August 11 with options to stay on through the end of August. Lifeguard training will be offered June 3-5 free of charge for those who pass and serve for the full summer at Camp Michigamme. Salary: $1,200/month
