Awards

Alexandra Fittante was awarded the Martha Griffiths award in 2012.  Pictured below are Alexandra Fittante and Dr. David Lucas, Department Head, Physics.  Alexandra graduated from Northern Michigan University in May, 2012 with a double major in Physics and Mathematics.  The Martha Griffiths award is awarded to a person who has promoted equity for women and girls in Michigan in a demonstrable manner.
