Outstanding Graduating Senior in Physics 2012-13

Amelia Shirtz, who graduated in December 2012 with a double major in Physics and French, was chosen as the outstanding graduating senior in physics.  Shirtz was honored at the University's annual Honors Reception in April. 

Martha Griffiths Award

Alexandra Fittante received the Martha Griffiths Award in 2012. Alexandra graduated from Northern Michigan University in May, 2012 with a double major in Physics and Mathematics.  The Martha Griffiths Award is given to a person who has promoted equity for women and girls in Michigan in a demonstrable manner.
