Get ready for orientation

Incoming students can sign up for orientation at www.nmu.edu/orientation. All new students admitted to NMU are required to attend an orientation session prior to registering for classes. There are freshman sessions in June and July, as well as commuter/non-traditional student sessions and transfer student sessions.

Summer classes an option for students

Course registration for the summer semester is going on now. Summer and fall course offerings can be viewed here. Session I courses begin May 21. Session II courses begin July 2.

Getting ready to move in

It's almost time to start thinking about moving into the residence halls. For information about deposit deadlines and housing rules and regulations, visit the housing website at www.nmu.edu/housing.
