Adopt-a-Flower-Bed Program to Resume

The NMU grounds staff is pleased to sponsor the 2012 Adopt-a-Flower-Bed Program. Last year was a great success with 11 teams volunteering to plant and maintain flower beds around campus. Plant Operations Call Center
	The Plant Operations Call Center is the communications hub of Plant Operations and the front-line communications with campus departments. Work Orders are initiated, dispatched, coordinated, and tracked through our computerized Facilities Management System. (See More.)

As the university prepares for possible budget reductions, the NMU campus community is reminded it can immediately help both the budget and the environment through some simple energy-saving steps. These include such things as turning off lights when a room will be empty more than five minutes, closing window shades at night and putting computers in the hibernation mode when they are not in use.
