Disability Services primarily offers assistance to students. However, the Coordinator of Disability Services can also offer support to faculty and staff on matters regarding classroom and testing accommodations, as well as assist in communication with students with disabilities.

Disability Services provides academic accommodations for students. Faculty and staff who would like to request employment accommodations should contact Human Resources at 906-227-2330.

Faculty are required to include the following ADA statement in their syllabi. The inclusion of this statement in the syllabus facilitates educational access to students with disabilities, communicates available resources, and displays willingness to accommodate.

If you have a need for disability-related accommodations or services, please inform the Coordinator of Disability Services in the Dean of Students Office at 2001 C. B. Hedgcock Building (227-1737). Reasonable and effective accommodations and services will be provided to students if requests are made in a timely manner, with appropriate documentation, in accordance with federal, state, and University guidelines.
