New students to Northern Michigan University need to meet with the Coordinator of Disability Services prior to requesting accommodations. Continuing Northern students can request accommodations online using the Accommodation Request Form or in the Disability Services Office. |
| Student Spotlight: Mike Erhart | ||

Mike has done graphic design work for Northstar Hospital in Iron River, the City of Iron River and recently designed a new logo for the Bureau of Services for Blind Persons (formerly known as Michigan Commission for the Blind). He is currently working on getting a summer internship with Elegant Seagulls Design of Marquette.
Mike attributes his long list of achievements to his ability to advocate for himself. He has even volunteered his time this semester to talk with students registered with disability services about the importance of self-advocacy. |
