Orientation Fees

General Information:

All new first year students are required to pay a $126 new student orientation fee. Transfer students with over 12 credits will have the option to attend either the in person ($126) or online orientation ($75). Students will be officially registered for a session once this fee has been paid. If students register for a session, but do not complete the payment process, they will be removed from the session within 24 hours.

Financial aid may not be applied to the New Student Orientation Fee or to any other orientation expenses. Please see the Refund Policy for information on refunds, as there are no full refunds.

Student Deferment Eligibility:

Students who meet the appropriate criteria may be eligible to have their Orientation fee deferred to their student accounts. This means that instead of paying the $126 fee up front, the fee is added to a students' financial account to be paid at a later date. You must have filed your FAFSA for the upcoming semester and have an Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) of $500 or lower to be eligible for fee deferment.

For those who qualify, please contact the Orientation office at 906-227-1707 to speak with a member of our team.

Please note:

       - Fee deferment cannot be determined without a FAFSA on file.
       - Orientation fees cannot be waived entirely.
