Orientation

The New Student Orientation Program provides comprehensive programs and services that facilitate the transition of new students to Northern Michigan University prior to the start of classes. All new students to Northern Michigan University are required to attend an orientation session prior to registering for classes. You will need to attend an orientation session to register for winter, summer or fall courses. Guest students who are only attending NMU for the summer semester are not required to attend orientation.
