Jim Melka and Knute Wolfe Memorial Scholarship
Established in 2002 by employees of Frei Chevrolet to honor the memory of former co-workers Jim Melka and Knute Wolfe.
2015 2016 - $500 minimum not to exceed full tuition & fees
Yes. The scholarship will be automatically renewed (max of 4 years) if student achieves and maintains a 3.0 GPA. Students do NOT need to reapply.
Any grade or level
Preference to Upper Peninsula high school graduate
Majors from any of the following departments (or areas)
Technology and Occupational Sciences
Automotive Service Technology
Must be enrolled in any area of the automotive program and have shown an intent to pursue a career in some area of the automobile industry.
Preference given to students who are dedicated to putting their acquired skills to use in the Upper Peninsula after graduation. These students shall self-identify to the automotive program faculty, who will make recommendations to the Financial Aide office.
