All first-time recipients at NMU, including students transferring to NMU, must complete and submit the application to your Tribal Enrollment Department for certification. Please include a copy of your driver's license and tribal enrollment card.

This waiver will be automatically renewed as long as the student is continuously enrolled.  Students not continuously enrolled at NMU must update their eligibility through the Michigan Civil Rights Commission application process as listed above.

  • Magers
  • Meyland

  • VanAntwerp

Students living off-campus, The Woods residence halls or in an on-campus apartment are not eligible.

Based on receipt of the ROTC Room/Board Scholarship from NMU, students will not be eligible to receive additional University funded scholarships and grants. This will include departmental scholarships, but does not include departmental prizes that are awarded on an annual basis.

Amount:

Amount not to exceed the value of a double occupancy room in the residence hall and the silver constant meal plan.
