Heritage Center, as part of its America 250 programming, presents an event about the Upper Peninsula 9/11 Oral History Project with Anna Zimmer on Wednesday, August 26, 7 p.m.  The event will be held in the Atrium of the Lydia M. Olson Library in Harden Hall on the campus of Northern Michigan University.  It is free and open to the public.

Registration Open for Third Annual Mind Over Miles 5K

Registration and volunteer opportunities are now open for the third annual Mind over Miles 5K run and walk in honor of World Mental Health Day, taking place on Thursday, October 8th. Organized by NMU WellBeing, the event helps highlight NMU’s commitment to the Okanagan Charter by fostering a campus culture that prioritizes health, wellbeing, and belonging.
