Then it's time to get registered for orientation. Transfer students are required to attend any of the following: the on-campus transfer session (June 3), the commuter & non-traditional orientation (June 13),any of the freshman orientation sessions (various dates), or the NEW Online Transfer Orientation*. During orientation (except for the online orientation session), you will meet with an academic adviser, register for courses, get your student ID, and meet a lot of great people, among other things. Register early, as sessions do fill up, using one of the methods below. *Transfer students majoring in Art and Design should plan to attend an in-person orientation session.
Session schedules and more information about orientation can be found at www.nmu.edu/orientation or by calling the Orientation office. If none of the sessions work with your schedule, please get a hold of them. We look forward to you being a Wildcat! |
