Marek Haltof (English) published a book chapter in Polish on “National Nostalgias: Contemporary Polish Adaptations of the National Literary Canon” in Najnowsze kino polskie [New Polish Cinema], edited by Piotr Zwierzchowski and Daria Mazur and published by the University of Bydgoszcz Press, 2007. Haltof's previously published essay, “Screening the Unrepresented World: Krzysztof Kieślowski’s Early Film-Essays (Personnel, The Scar and The Calm),” has been anthologized in Fifty Years of Polish Scholarship: The Polish Review 1956-2006, edited by Charles S. Kraszewski and published by PIASA Books, 2006.

Randall Jensen (HPER) co-authored a recent article in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research. It is titled "Early-phase strength gains during traditional resistance training compared with an upper-body, air-resistance training device." The device tested uses air as the resistance in a piston-driven motion for resistance training. The gains in strength were similar to those of traditional weight training, but limitations due to asymmetry and appropriate progression suggest that the device should be used in conjunction with other modes of resistance training, rather than independently. Two of Jensen's co-authors are from the University of Limerick and one works for Bio-Medical Research Ltd. of Galway, Ireland.
