Publications

Timothy Compton (Modern Languages and Literatures) had two articles published in the Fall 2005 edition of Latin American Theatre Review (LATR). "Latin American Theatre Today 2005 in Conneticut" was a report on a conference and festival he attended earlier this year. It surveyed the event and gave analyses of the plays that were performed. "Mexico City's Spring 2005 Theatre Season" reported on outstanding plays and included a number of photographs, including two taken by NMU student Dana Giampaolo, who accompanied Compton to Mexico. This is the 13th consecutive year that Compton's reviews of Mexican theater seasons have appeared in LATR.

A case study written by senior Pete Pelletier (Clinical Laboratory Sciences) was published in the October 2005 edition of Laboratory Medicine. The case involved a 24-year-old woman who developed symptoms of lethargy and weakness when her hemoglobin decreased noticeably following a laparascopic cholecystectomy.
