Curriculum Changes Deadline Approaching

The deadline for NMU Academic Senate action on curriculum changes to appear in the 2005-06 Undergraduate Bulletin is Tuesday, Jan. 25 the first senate meeting of the winter semester.

All changes approved by the Senate after this date will be effective with the 2006-07 Bulletin.

The complete timeline for approval is as follows:

•  Jan. 25 – approval by Senate;

•  Feb. 8 – approval by the provost and vice president, assuming no issues that require EPC involvement or a return to the senate; registrar reviews, edits and prepares master, which is rechecked by departments; bulletin printing goes out on bid;

•  April 15 – delivered to printer; printing and transportation;

•  June 6 – available for use by first orientation group.
