The standard Sociology Minor can be tailored to meet the curriculum objectives of students in many fields. Students are encouraged to discuss their goals with a Sociology faculty advisor.
This minor is designed for students in a wide variety of majors who wish to develop significant skills in research, data analysis, interviewing, report presentation and report writing in order to find a job in data analysis. Students are encouraged to discuss their goals with a Sociology faculty advisor.
Anthropology is an excellent compliment to any major where understanding human diversity would be an asset. When taken in combination with certain majors and electives, students may go on to enter graduate programs in anthropology.
