Vehicle License Plates - Risk Management

The NMU Risk and Insurance Department maintains an inventory of NMU-owned and leased vehicles and provides municipal license plates for each vehicle.

To obtain a license plate, a department must contact Risk Management.  

Risk Management will monitor and maintain plate renewals and periodically contact the department for information and updates. Risk Management must be contacted prior to the time that the vehicle is sold or scrapped, or if the license plate is switched to another vehicle.
