Student Psychological Association

The Student Psychological Association (SPA) is composed of psychology majors and minors and provides these students with numerous opportunities to interact with faculty and other members from a psychology-related background. This association will enhance each individual's knowledge of the breadth of psychology and career possibilities by providing speakers from various fields within this study.

For more information, email or or go to the SPA page here.

Brain Awareness Week
NMU students went to Negaunee, North Star, and Bothwell schools to spread awareness and information about psychology, the brain, and how we study it. With the use of presentations, handouts, and an interactive candy demonstration, middle school students gained a stronger understanding of the make-up of their own anatomy, offering them the opportunity of better health, as well as an early look into the open areas of psychology.
