NMU's Hospitality Management program recently hosted the annual Memorial Chili Challenge at the Jacobetti Complex.  Approximately 20 competitors entered their chili for sampling and judging, with about 150 attendees enjoying the creations.  Cornbread, beverages, and cupcakes donated by Joe's Cakes, were also offered for tasting. The Chili Challenge is an annual event sponsored by the Culinary Students of NMU in memory of past hospitality management students, faculty and supporters who have passed away.  The “Best Overall” chili winners this year were Dining Services Cook, John Eagle, for the professionals, and the Student Nurses Association, for the amateurs.
