Students Host Annual Chili Challenge

NMU’s hospitality management program will host the annual Memorial Chili Challenge from 3-5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, at the Jacobetti Center commons area. The cost to attend is $5 for students and $7 for the public. Learn more.

NMU Crew Volunteers on Isle Royale

In early May, five graduates of Northern Michigan University's electrical linesman technician program traveled to Isle Royale National Park with Dr. Carol Hicks, Professor Emeritus at NMU, to repair damaged electrical lines on the island. Learn more.

Joe Ebertsh, a 2009 NMU Construction Management graduate, currently is working for Michels Corporation out of Brownsville, Wis. as its project manager. He recently had an article published in Engineering News Record magazine about its latest project experience in Alaska working on the Eva Creek Wind Farm. To read more on his project, click here.

Culinary Café
NMU's Culinary Café is a student-based café located in the Jacobetti Complex. The Culinary Café is open Monday- Friday. Breakfast is served from 7:45-10a.m. and lunch is served from 10:30-12:30p.m. For more information click here
