The following types of pricing agreements are available to Northern Michigan University and may be used in procurement rather than competitive bidding:
- Educational and Institutional Cooperative Service Contracts.
- Manufacturers, Hospital Purchasing Services (HPS), Michigan Assessment College & University Purchasing Agents (MACUPA) or other school pricing agreements.
- State or local government contracts.
- University-established Northern Michigan University (NMU) contracts.
