César Talamantes, a movie maker from Mexico

As a relatively young man, César Talamantes finished a degree in filmmaking a few years ago, and in the process made several short films which garnered a number of international prizes.  His most decorated film is a short (25 minutes) one set in his native state of Baja California Sur and deals with how changes in the fishing industry impact the locals.  If you’d like to watch one of his films, join us Tuesday evening, January 25, at 6 p.m. in Mead Auditorium.
