A graduate student is considered a full-time student if enrolled for a minimum of eight credit hours during either the fall or winter semesters and six credit hours during one of the two summer sessions. To be classified as a half-time student, four credits for fall, winter or summer are required.
Graduate assistants are required to enroll in a minimum of six credit hours each semester, but are not considered full-time graduate students unless they are enrolled in the minimum eight credit hours.
