Guest Application: Michigan Intercollegiate Graduate Studies (MIGS) Program
Graduate students who are in good standing in a degree program are eligible to elect courses at several graduate schools in Michigan with the approval of both host and home faculty ("host" is the school offering the course(s), "home" is the school in which the student is enrolled) under the MIGS program. This program is for guest scholars and enables graduate students to take advantage of unique educational opportunities throughout the state. Contact the Graduate Studies Office for a listing of participating institutions, procedures and MIGS liaison officers.
After completing the course(s) at the host institution, the student is responsible for arranging to have two official transcripts of MIGS studies sent to the Registrar’s Office at the home institution. The student should also contact the office to indicate that a transcript is being sent for posting on the academic record as MIGS graduate credit.
