Reporting Discrimination

State and federal laws prohibit discrimination against individuals with disabilities, including students or applicants with disabilities. Northern Michigan University’s Equal Opportunity office and/or the dean of students coordinates the university’s compliance with these state and federal non-discrimination laws, including the federal Vocational Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the federal Americans with Disabilities Act and the amended state Person with Disabilities Civil Rights Act.
