NMU League

The Northern Michigan University Golf Course offers NMU League, which is open to Northern employees, spouses and dependents, retirees, alumni and friends of NMU. The league plays at 5:30 p.m. every Thursday night during the season (May through October).

The league plays a  3-person, 9-hole scramble format. On every hole, each team member hits tee shot.  The team then decides which ball to play. Each player then hits from that position. The same format is used until the ball is holed.  A team handicap will be established after the first week of play.

The league fee is $25 per person, which is used for prizes and the season-end banquet. There is no weekly greens fee for NMU Golf Course members; non-members pay $15 per week.  Cart rental is $7 per rider (max 2 riders) per session.
