Season Show Policy

NOTE: In consideration of our audience members and performers, there will be no late seating for Forest Roberts Theatre Season shows.  Please plan to arrive and be seated in a timely manner, as the doors will be closed and each performance will begin at its scheduled time.

Sold Out Shows and Rush Seating for FRT-produced Shows

If a sellout occurs, open seats will be put back into the system and resold at 7:25 p.m. As soon as a show is sold out, individuals may call or stop by the box office to be put on a waiting list for tickets.  Names for rush seating will be called beginning at 7:20 p.m. Exact cash is preferred for rush seating.

Outside Event Policies

Box office staff working an outside event do not receive complimentary tickets. NOTE: Late patrons will be seated at the discretion of the HOUSE MANAGER.  Please plan to arrive and be seated in a timely manner, as the doors will be closed and each performance will begin at its scheduled time.  Thank you!

Sold Out shows and Rush Seating for Outside Events

If a sellout occurs, open seats will be left open.  If there are tickets turned back to the box office or become available, a rush seating list will start at 6:30 p.m., when the box office opens.  Names for rush seating will be called at 7:20 p.m.

Season Tickets

All season ticket orders must go through the main ticketing office at the Superior Dome (906-227-1032).  We can take information at the Forest Roberts Theatre Box Office, but all processing is done through the Dome.  Season ticket holders may renew the same seats each year.

Refunds and Exchanges

There are NO REFUNDS on ticket purchases.  If a performance is canceled, arrangements will be made to refund all ticket holders.
  • First Nighters Club members may exchange their tickets without a fee.
  • Season ticket holders may exchange their tickets at $2 per ticket for reprinting costs.
  • Single ticket holders MAY NOT EXCHANGE TICKETS
  • Any other exchanges will be handled on a case-by-case basis with the approval of the Director of Theatre only.

If season ticket holders receive vouchers for a production in the James A. Panowski Black Box Theatre, or if vouchers are purchased online, those vouchers must be exchanged for an actual ticket to the performance of their choice.  There is no cost for this exchange.  Due to limited available seating, we STRONGLY encourage season ticket holders to exchange their tickets before December, and we encourage online voucher holders to exchange their vouchers as soon as possible.

Retiree Complimentary Tickets

Retiree complimentary ticket holders are not guaranteed the same seats year to year.  Retirees tickets are assigned beginning from the back of the house and working forward.  Those with sight or hearing impairments should note that on the order/request form and we will try to accommodate them.  However, we cannot guarantee particular seats.

Wheelchair Seating

Wheelchair seating is available at the Forest Roberts Theatre.  These seats are sold online as well as through the box office.  In the event of a sellout, available wheelchair seating is released to the general public.

Please feel free to call the box office at 906-227-2553 to obtain information about the running time of the production or the suitability of the content or language for children.
