Visual Arts of Japan - Study Abroad Event
Interest Meetings scheduled in Art and Design Building, Room 169 - from 4 to 5 pm. This is 4-credit winter course with travel scheduled in May 2014. Students will take classes at the Japan Center for Michigan Universities, and lodge in nearby hotel accommodations - all within site of historic Hikone Castle and Lake Biwa, Japan's largest interior lake, providing water and wetland envionment to the Kansai region of Honshu (main island). Field excursions the ancient capital cities of Nara and Kyoto plus a two-day exploration of bustling Tokyo.
