Benefits and Challenges of Mining in the Upper Peninsula

There will an "An Academic Dialogue of the Benefits and Challenges of Mining in the Upper Peninsula." This will be at 6 p.m., Thursday, April 26 in the Brule Room of the University Center. Speakers will include Manuel Glave from Peru; Dave Anderson of Orvana Resources; Russell Magnaghi, an NMU history professor; and Theordore Bornhort, professor of economic and engineering geology at Michigan Tech. This event is sponsored by the Economics Student Association.
