An article by Melissa Matuscak (DeVos Art Museum) titled “John Lautner: A Southern California Visionary with Northern Michigan Sensibilities” was published in the July-August issue of Michigan History magazine. Lautner was an NMU alumnus and prominent architect based in the Los Angeles area. The DeVos Art Museum last fall hosted an exhibit on his professional achievements to mark what would have been Lautner’s 100th birthday. Read the article here.
