David Boe (English) recently gave a conference presentation entitled "Nietzsche's Conception of Language" at the annual meeting of the Linguistic Society of America in Portland,Ore.

Mounia Ziat (Psychology) presented a demonstration titled "Tacticle Suppression of Displacement Device" at the Haptics Symposium, held March 4-7 in Vancouver, Canada. She also served as part of the organization committee. Her student, Chelsea Sicotte, assisted in the demonstration and was a student volunteer at the symposium. Peter Pless (Art and Design) also participated in the project.
