John Bruggink (Biology) presented “Fall survival of American woodcock in the western Great Lakes Region” at the 66th Midwest Fish and Wildlife Conference held Dec. 14 in Grand Rapids. Co-authors on the paper were Eileen Oppelt (Biology), Kevin Doherty and David E. Andersen from the University of Minnesota, and Jed Meunier and R. Scott Lutz of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Kate Mueller (English) presented a paper titled "The Unintentional Fallacy of Writing Courses" at the University of Denver's "Attention /Inattention: Graduate Critique and Creativity" conference held during the fall semester.
