A textbook co-authored by David Prychitko (Economics) has been translated into Hungarian. The Economic Way of Thinking, 10th edition, will also be translated into Russian. “I suppose it has a lot to do with these countries undertaking the transition from communism to market-based economies,” said Prychitko. “This probably makes books like ours more relevant as they seek to understand how markets work and the ‘rules of the game’ that allow markets to flourish.”

Kia Jane Richmond (English) and co-author Alyson Whyte of Auburn University wrote an article titled, "Questioning Our Methods: Report on the Commission on English Methods Teaching and Learning." It was published in "Conversations from the Commissions" in English Education, journal of the Conference on English Education, which is published by the National Council of Teachers of English. The article is a report on the workings of the Commission on English Methods, Teaching and Learning, of which Richmond is the national chair.
