NMU Rural Health Careers Camp

This camp provides rural high school students with hands-on learning experience in different health careers and shows them the opportunities available in the health professions. The staff for camp is comprised of NMU health professions faculty, health professionals currently in practice and college students studying towards a health profession.

Students experience health care simulations, receive CPR training and go on a tour of a local medical facility where they learn how the various health professions work together to provide quality health care for individuals.  Also, students receive information about education and training, academic requirements, financial aid and campus life at NMU.
