Area of Study: Biology

Lab Involvement: Work with a technology called CRISPR, which edits the genes expressed in brain cancer. Hopes to remove the protein the protein responsible for transporting cellular waste out of the tumor cell. 

Future Plans: Medical school, with hopes of returning to the Upper Peninsula to be a physician.
