Update – The 2020 Incredible Bank Hope Starts Here Challenge is now a VIRTUAL EVENT!

The Incredible Bank Hope Starts Here Challenge raises funds and awareness for the Upper Michigan Brain Tumor Center (UMBTC). The UMBTC is a collaborative effort between UP Health System, Northern Michigan University and the Superior Health Foundation. Its mission is to empower patients and families dealing with brain tumor through advocacy, research, education, and treatment.

In light of social distancing measures, this year's event will take place virtually from anywhere you choose! Anytime between August 22 and August 30, participants will run/walk/bike their chosen event and have the option to submit their self-timed result through their run sign up account. Unfortunately, we will be unable to provide our usual lunch and awards ceremony this year. Prices have been reduced to reflect these changes. We have created a Virtual Hope Starts Here Challenge event page on Facebook for participants to share pictures and post inspiring messages. We encourage all participants to join us there!

Below is tentative information for our 2020 event: Awards and medals will not be distributed this year, but we will have results posted online so our competitive runners and bikers can see where they've placed.
