Randal Klitzke

Assistant Professor of Technology and Occupational Sciences

Randal Klitzke, formerly from Menominee, MI holds credentials as an ASE certified master automotive technician and also as a professional educator of Career and Technical Education specializing in Automotive Technology and Work-Based Learning. Highlighting Mr. Klitzke’s instructional career with Menominee Area Public Schools, Randy was named educator of the year by the Marinette / Menominee Chamber of Commerce, he was nominated to and served as an advisory committee member for Michigan State Superintendent of Education Mike Flanagan, and he attained certification for Menominee’s automotive technology program from the National Automotive Technician’s Education Foundation (NATEF).  

Prior to a career in education, Mr. Klitzke was employed in industry as a General Motors master service technician earning certifications by Buick, Chevrolet, and GMC Truck. Despite transitioning his career as a technician toward education, Mr. Klitzke has continued to learn new technologies developed within industry by attending regular training through highly recognized providers such as Autowares, Federal Mogul, and NAPA. Randy has also maintained regular hands-on practice through his employment in the performance racing industry where he is also an active race team member.  With feature wins to his credit as a crew chief, the exemplifying mark of Randy’s successes in racing include having earned recognition as a late-model division champion team member of` the American Speed Association’s (ASA) national member track series.
