I grew up in Marquette, seven blocks up the street from NMU.I earned my Bachelor's degree in Social Work at NMU and Master’s degree in School Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. I have worked for 17 years in higher education here at NMU. I worked as a school psychologist for 17 years in K-12 education for a grand total of 34 years in education.I have enjoyed working with students at all levels of education. University students have the particular challenge of finding their specific degree and career path. Being part of that dynamic process is personally rewarding.
