RENSSELAER, Ind. â€Ã‚“ Northern Michiganand St. Josephâ€Ã‚™s played 110 minutesof soccer on Thursday as they tied 2-2. NMU is now 2-1-1 onthe year while St. Josephâ€Ã‚™s is0-1-1.  Rachel Vilders gave the â€Ã‚˜Cats anearly 1-0 lead on a penalty kick at 64:57 of the game.  St. Josephâ€Ã‚™swould tie the game with a goal at the 80:42 mark of the contest.

Kerri Vander Velden gave the â€Ã‚˜Cats the lead again at 86:47with a goal as Emily Garceo assisted. About three minutes later at 89:57 of the match, St. Josephâ€Ã‚™s scored to tie it once again.

Jamie Rocho in goal for NMU had seven saves on the day.  The â€Ã‚˜Cats had the advantage in shots as thesquad had 31 shots during the game to St. Josephâ€Ã‚™s25. 

NMU will continue with their Indianaswing as they will play at Southern Indiana on Saturday(Sept. 6).
