LEAVE NO TRACE 101 WORKSHOP AT BARREL & BEAM

Join Respect Marquette County and the Marquette Area Chapter of the North Country Trail Association for the Leave No Trace 101 Workshop at Barrel and Beam on November 15, 2023 from 6pm - 8pm. SUSTAINABLE SPECIAL TOPICS COURSES FOR 2024

HM/HN495 - Food System Comparison Rural vs. Urban: A general education course that explores food systems, relationships among its stakeholders, and their impact on society by comparing and interacting with partners. This course will meet on Mondays from 6-7:40PM and travel to California May 5-14. Contact Lanae Joubert (ljoubert@nmu.edu) for more details.

PS495 - Environmental Management in Michigan: A special topics course on environmental management in Michigan and will broaden your understanding of the role of federal, state, tribal, and local governments in resilience and sustainability. GREEN FUND PROPOSALS DUE NEXT WEEK 

What is the Green Fund? The Green Fund is a student-paid fee that funds sustainable student-lead initiatives on campus. Any student can submit a proposal to improve sustainability at NMU! Learn more about it here.

If you have an idea that you want to submit to the Green Fund, fill out this application by November 18th. If you have questions about the Green Fund or about how to submit an application, contact EcoReps at ecoreps@nmu.edu. A video about the Green Fund will be shared soon. Stay tuned!
