The Registrar's Office maintains all academic records for both current and former students.

Currently enrolled students are encouraged to regularly check both the general information, such as local and permanent addresses, as well as grades each semester, so that any possible inaccuracies can be addressed in a timely manner.

Student academic records are protected by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), which is intended to protect the confidentiality of student records and to give students the right to access to their records to assure the accuracy of their contents.

If you are a current student, you can view your transcript online, along with other student information from by logging into MyNMU.

Former Students can request a transcript online and receive them fast!

If you have questions about your student record, please contact the Registrar's Office or browse freely through the abundant information available on the Registrar's website.

You can access your own academic and personal information by going to mynmu.nmu.edu and entering your NMU (e-mail) user ID and password. Grades, unofficial transcripts, course schedule, registration holds, current adviser and financial aid information are available at this location.

Every enrolled student automatically receives a university computer account, which gives access to instructional files and software, e-mail, free dial-in access from off-campus and other resources.

The computer Help Desk, located at 107 Learning Resources Center, can help you with any technical difficulties you may be having with network access or your notebook computer. The Help Desk telephone number is 906-227-2468. 

If you do not know or have forgotten your (e-mail) user ID and password, go to myuser.nmu.edu to look it up or reset it. You will need to provide your NMU IN and birth date.
