The members of NMU student organizations sponsor almost 300 campus-wide programs and events every year in addition to the hundreds of group activities. These same students volunteer thousands of hours of service annually to local communities. In the process, the student organizations that register at Northern Michigan University every year provide thousands of students with fun, friendships, memories, and educational experiences that cannot be found in the classroom.
Efforts put forth by student organizations are recognized annually at the Leadership Recognition Banquet.

Student Organization: His House Christian Fellowship
|Description||His House Christian Fellowship exists on the campus of NMU for the purpose of building God's house on campus. As a ministry we are committed to: Love - God, His People, and all who He created; Encourage - Growth as followers of Jesus; Serve - God through serving our peers and our community; Seek - the lost, the hurting, and the needy. Our goal is to participate in building the church, the body of Christ, God's house here on campus. Building means growing! Our goal is to grow God's house in strength, in depth, and in size through a commitment to L.E.S.S. By a commitment to LESS we strive to be: a family on campus sought by God, saved by Jesus Christ, and led by the Holy Spirit; a place where students feel safe to be themselves, ask questions about life and God; a dynamic ministry where students are taking initiative to reach out to the lost in meaningful ways; a training ground where students grow deep in God's word and experience growth. Join us in fulfilling our vision - as individuals and as a church - by striving to keep building! Check us out on Facebook (NMU His House), on the web (www.nmu.hhcf.org) or by email (firstname.lastname@example.org)|
