||The purpose of the Breakdance Club is to practice, promote, and understand break dancing. To appreciate this style of dance, members will engage in meetings, practice sessions, competitions, and demonstrations. Another goal is for members to raise awareness of break dancing, which is encompassed in Hip-Hop culture. This includes knowing and understanding the origins, development, and modern day perspectives of this ‘lifestyle.’ Membership is exclusively for students, faculty and staff. All of the members must be University affiliated. This organization abides by the University’s Non-Discrimination Policy, and does not set restrictions based on age, gender, race, ethnicity, and/or religious or political affiliations. To become a member, one must attend at least one practice session per fortnight (2 weeks). There may be membership dues based on the consensus of the officers of this organization. Membership permits voting for officers, attending in performances, participating in competitions, and fundraising for events. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
