The members of NMU student organizations sponsor almost 300 campus-wide programs and events every year in addition to the hundreds of group activities. These same students volunteer thousands of hours of service annually to local communities. In the process, the student organizations that register at Northern Michigan University every year provide thousands of students with fun, friendships, memories, and educational experiences that cannot be found in the classroom.

Student Organization: Men's Rugby Club
|Description||Men's Rugby Club (The Moosemen) is looking for athletic men willing to donate a few hours per week to learning the exciting sport of rugby. No experience is necessary. The first few weeks of practice are for learning basic fundamentals of the game. Following this period, practices will be geared toward preparation for matches, which are held on weekends. Because rugby is not a varsity sport, the club is responsible for funding and requires dues ($225), which includes warm-ups. For more information, email email@example.com.|
