The members of NMU student organizations sponsor almost 300 campus-wide programs and events every year in addition to the hundreds of group activities. These same students volunteer thousands of hours of service annually to local communities. In the process, the student organizations that register at Northern Michigan University every year provide thousands of students with fun, friendships, memories, and educational experiences that cannot be found in the classroom.

Student Organization: Catholic Campus Ministry
|Description||Catholic Campus Ministry (CCM) is a group where students can come together as a community and grow together in faith through worship, service, and social activities. Our center is at the intersection of the hospital, the University Center, and Cohodas (we are adjoined to St. Michael's Parish at 401 W. Kaye Avenue). Our schedule includes Student Mass (Sundays at 7 p.m. -- when NMU is in session), Adoration and Confessions (Tuesdays at 8 p.m., Mass at 9 p.m.), Homemade Meal (Wednesdays at 6 p.m., Speaker and Discussion at 7 p.m.), and Game Night (Fridays at 8 p.m.); there are also men's and women's Bible studies held on campus, as well as spring and fall retreats.
